"Really loved Hotel Grimsborgir! We stayed for 4 nights. The location is excellent - about an hour from Reykjavik and really easy to drive to. Lots of parking. Updated decoration throughout and very spacious rooms. Access to the hot tubs was great. The breakfast was varied and very tasty. We ate in the restaurant once and were very satisfied with the meal and with the service. Staff were very polite and knowledgeable. And they called to let us know the Northern Lights were visible!"
"Excellent location in the center of town within steps of restaurants, shops, and bars. Attentive and friendly front desk staff that were very helpful and provided great recommendations. The room was clean and cozy with a spa-like shower. Allow plenty of time to enjoy the the breakfast as they close promptly at 10:00. Highly recommend."

"This was our first night and hotel staff was super helpful getting us oriented to the city. They kept our luggage while we explored since we arrived at 10am (before our room was ready). We were able to get to our around by 1:00 to fully check in which was super helpful. Easy and convenient walking around town."
