"This place was fine. I wouldn’t give it more than 3 stars. Super noisy outside as it’s in the middle of a very busy road. Also, in the mornings you can hear the duomo dong starting at 7 am. Bed was very firm. Breakfast was a nice touch. It is very central to everything you need."
"First when we got there, they had not turned on air conditioning and the room was very hot in August. Then we turned on A/C and it was very weak and there was hardly any cold air. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and hard like rocks. The sheets were very hard and a strong smell of detergent. We had to leave the door open to yard and still couldn’t sleep. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL AND EXPEDIA SHOULD TAKE THIS OFF THE LIST."
"Hotel Accademia is conveniently located near restaurants, bars, SMN train station and major attractions. There is a staff member there 24 hours. The staff is extremely friendly and gave us great lunch and dinner recommendations. Room was clean, air conditioning was cold and location is quiet. Unfortunately we were not able to eat breakfast as we had early tours both days.

"My wife and stayed for one night and had an amazing experience staying at Hotel David. Staff are super nice and very friendly. Free breakfast and free happy hour in the evening with drinks and nibbles was a great added bonus. Very well kept and clean property. Bed and mattress was super comfortable. Highly recommended this place to anyone!"
"The hotel is conveniently located right by the main train station and walking distance to the duomo and other attractions in Florence. Staff was fantastic and friendly. The hotel does need updating in the common areas and room, everything is on the older side, but I got to say is clean, so if you don't mind the retro look, then is a good option."
