"The location is amazing, just couple minutes walk to Accademia Gallery, Botanical Garden, main squares (Piazzale), and other attractions. We booked two rooms for us and our two daughters. "Like many properties in Florence, the rooms seem a little worn and do with a re-do. However the staff was great, and helpful, and the location very good. Overall we were happy with the choice. Polish up the rooms an bet and upgrade the pillows and linens and this would be 5 star. "

"Stayed here for 2 nights in April with wife and 12 year old son. Great location with friendly staff, good breakfast. Good size room with high ceilings .Great bed. Mattress was firm and comfortable, with quality bed sheets. Great working air conditioner! There is few flights of stairs up to get to the place, but there is a small elevator. We liked everything here. Would stay again if ever in Florence !"

"Great location and easy to drive to with rental car. The parking is 30e a day. Not mentioned on Expedia booking that this is extra. Hotel room was clean. Staff was excellent. The hotel is old and has a certain smell which was bothersome to myself, but like I said it's old. The location is away from the busy Center but east to walk to everything, it's very crowed in Center. I'd recommended staying here for the location and free breakfast. "
