"Very nice and clean hotel with excellent service. Our room was spectacular. My husband got sick during the trip and the hotel allowed us to stay 2 hour longer before going to the railway station. The hotel staff also checked us in earlier without charging early check-in fees. Very friendly and accommodating. We certainly will be back next year. Excellent hotel, highly recommended."

"As soon as you walk through the front door you are met with authentic period decor that transports you back in time. The staff were very friendly and helped me book a guide around the city. The room was exceptionally cleanand comfortable. I don't know people have knocked the breakfast as I found it to be diverse and well made. I especially liked that you could purchase an espresso drink rather than drink Nescafe from a pot. Overall, i gel this was an excellent choice. "

"Hotel is in prime location, just a short walk to key attractions in Khiva. Check in was a breeze as the staff instantly knew that i have a booking. The hotel feels modern, and the room is nicely decorated and clean. The photos I took didn't look as pretty as the actual. Cars are not able to park directly in front of the hotel because the "main road" which leads to the attractions are only for carts and bicycles but not for vehicles. It's a short walk of less than 5mins to the (car accessible) road so it's not much of an issue. On our last day, the staff of the hotel helped to bring our luggage all the way to the car which takes us to the train station. We are happy with our stay at Sangzor."

"Wonderful hotel with delicious breakfasts including freshly cooked eggs to order and real coffee. Good location with a 15 minute walk through parks to the Registan. Staff were excellent with good English. The only slight negative was that the bathroom ventilation was poor, and when we mentioned that to the manager, he moved us to another better room with a much better bathroom. Excellent service!"
