"The property and the location were great. The parking system was execrable, requiring that a parking app be downloaded but then the app wouldn’t accept my US Mobile number. After 45 minutes the hotel receptionist finally went online to pay the fee for me and charged my credit card. The hotel should make this option available at the outset!!!"
"Our room had a very ugly view over the bins and kitchen extractor fans. This created a loud hum until around 10pm and also brought some cooking smells into the room. The walls are also very thin and we could hear the room next door very clearly.
However, after midnight the noise died down and it was quiet.
The hotel is in a nice, very rural location."
"Wonderful stay. Clean and with all the amenities you need. Great location. Privacy. Lovely pub with great food, super friendly. Had a small issue so we called Jonny who answered on the 2nd ring, talked us through the solution, and then gave us some tips on things to do. Great service. Highly recommend and we’ll be back in the autumn."
"very close to the beach, just over the road, its better less stony if you walk about 10 mins to the right, about 5 min walk to reception, lodge is located in a quiet park of the park, I always take a tv as my son is socially anxious, and didnt leave the lodge at all, until we left, I felt it would of been useful to have a tv in the double room, as my son took over the only tv, with his xbox, and i got sent to my room, to watch tv, it was nice having the decking outside, could do with outdoor...
"Great location in a very cute town. The oak house succeeded our expectations with its cosy kitchen and really roomy living room and great bedrooms.
Rye is a great location to stay in and it is easy to do day trips from"
"The cottage was very nice and clean and in a good location to explore Rye and the surrounding area. The cottage was small and could be improved with a couple of things. The kitchen table has a wobble, a tea towel and extra toilet roll would be nice. In the hot weather, we struggled to open a window, however a fan was provided which helped. The complimentary biscuits were a nice touch. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this accommodation."
"The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, it is tiny but perfect for a couple. It has everything you need, an extremely comfortable bed and located in a peaceful lane, so a great place to relax. "
"host was amazing even aloud a late check on on Sunday which was great as got a walk in on the beach. would recommend high standard finish and so close to beach would be amazing for a family in the summer."
"Waterside was a good property let down by a couple of issues. The access is dreadful. Both access roads are potholed and in danger of causing damage to a visitors vehicle. There was also a water leak over the cooker hob. Twice the cooker hob and worktop were covered in water along with my food. It appears to come from the extract hood. "
