"We were given an accessible room and it was true adapted to meet many needs. Room 12 had a roll in shower, many grab bars, low light switches and everything important could be reached from a sitting position. It was on the second floor with an elevator 10 feet away. We didn’t need any modifications for ourselves but wanted people who might a description of the room."
"Our experience at Hotel Steiner was unfortunately very disappointing. One of the main reasons we specifically chose this hotel was air conditioning, yet it did not work properly for a significant portion of our stay.
Whenever we contacted the staff with a question or problem, they seemed unsure how to help and the response was almost always, “We will call you back.” To their credit, they usually did call back, but unfortunately the follow-up rarely provided an actual solution or a clear answer...
"Sehr nettes Hotel in Auer, mitten im Ort. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, schneller Check-in, gutes Frühstück, schöner, gepflegter Garten mit Pool und Liegewiese. Im Hotel gibt’s Getränke und unweit vom Hotel ein paar Restaurants.
Parkplätze sind genügend vorhanden."
"The staff were exceptionally attentive and helpful from the moment of our arrival. They showed us how to walk to get good views of the Rosengarten peaks for the alpinglow at sunset. Breakfast was great, and the staff offered help finding items we might be looking for. Good music in the bar, nice atmosphere.
Beautiful views, well worth the twisty drive up from Bolsano, and great value compared to any other lodgings in Bolsano. A great find-I recommend it highly!"
"The management had changed hands only one week before the arrival of our group of 38 people. Dinner was expected as had been booked but the new manager was not aware. A lovely local lady was employed to be a translator as the group were all English and did not speak good Italian.
A menu was provided by the hotel and the group were all fed. The hotel exchanged breakfast for the evening meal at their expense which was a welcome offer by the group."
"Our room was on the small side, but with a nice balcony that allowed us to seat outside and enjoy the view. Breakfast was all great, except probably the scrambled eggs. But there were enough fruits, cold cuts, breads and cheeses to make it up for that."
