"We loved the terrace breakfasts and late night drinks on the rooftop patio. The staff was consistently kind and accommodating. The central location made getting to/from all the historical sites on foot much easier. We'll book Ruby Hotels in the future. Thank you!"

"Me gusto el trato de todo el personal, de la recepción (Emananuelle) como la señorita que atiende en el desayuno muy amables y atentos . La ubicación del lugar es muy buenas . Para moverte a cualquier lugar de la ciudade de roma y de toda Italia"

"I have never had such a small room in any other hotel around the world, the room we got was not shown as advertise in any pictures for the category we booked on expedias website The room had the smallest bathroom I've ever seen in my life, the beds were extremely hard, you might as well sleep on the floor. Bathroom shower kept flooding, drain was plugged, and toilet wouldn't flush. Never again. Beware."

"Rien à redire sur les employés, tous très gentils et serviables. Par contre l'état de la chambre était lamentable. Brisé à plusieurs niveaux, le robinet de l'évier qui se décrochait, support à papier de toilette brisé, les murs complètement maganés. Honnêtement pour le prix c'était atroce, une chance que c'était pour une nuit seulement."

"Wonderful location, friendly staff. Rooms, entrance lobby etc are very, very cramped. We struggled to get in and out on arrival/departure - luggage, no automatic door - but no one came to help us. Our rooms were functional but very small and not as clean as would be expected for the price. Breakfast was disappointing - poor quality coffee and far too many cakes at the expense of fruit, granola etc. Overall, this is an extremely expensive hotel which did not live up to the price."

"Posto curato, ottima accoglienza , vicinissimo alla stazione centrale."

"Hotel Smeraldo is an excellent hotel to stay at, especially if you love being in the city center. The staff was very accommodating and so friendly. The hotel rooftop bar was very nice and that staff was exceptional as well. Would definitely recommend Hotel Smeraldo-Rome to everyone!"

"Amazing location we have stayed in many times. Staff is professional and makes us feel so welcome. Wonderful rooftop bar. Rooms are perfect for a stay in central Rome."

"Lovely small hotel in the heart of the city. Very convenient to get to all the sites and transport. Super helpful staff, very easy to communicate with even though I didnt see them as I was out all day. Very clean."

"The property was well maintained and centrally located in old Rome."

"Best hotel location in Rome. Walkability was so convenient to all site seeing attractions. I stayed in this same hotel 20 years ago and decided to pick it again for my recent trip. The Breakfast is my favorite hotel breakfast to date. The staff is so friendly and helpful!! If I go back, ill pick this hotel a third time."
