"Pros: Clean room, air conditioning was nice, and the location was great. So close to so many shops, food, theaters etc. Hotel is also right next to the underground. Staff was nice, some were more helpful than others. Cons: The price for what you get is not great. You’re essentially paying for the convenience of the location. "Although it is quite a trek from terminal 5 it provided a quiet, clean and relaxing place to rest/shower on a long layover. Breakfast was excellent and allowed for quick refueling before long day of travel."

"We had a room on the first floor. No air conditioning in the room - only a small oscillating fan and the window open ajar. Unbearably hot. Fixtures in the shower would stick, making it difficult to adjust water temperature and even turn the water off. Water from the tap smelled of iron. Apparently some rooms have A/C, but not all. Wish we had known this before booking. We ended up leaving early and booking elsewhere because it was too uncomfortable."

"Very nice location. British museum is 2 mins walking distance. Access to bus stops, taxis and hop on and hop off tour buses. Lots of pubs, cafés and restaurants near by. Only problem with this hotel NO AIR CONDITIONING. That was my only problem, and had to open windows (limited opening due to safety measures) and no air coming thru. Thank god we went before the heatwave. Not ideal when it gets too hot, since there is no air conditioning or no fans in the rooms."

"The air conditioning units were all out, the line at reception was always long and took forever to get to speak to someone. We were locked out of our room halfway through our stay. The facilities in the common spaces were not kept clean at all. The location was nice, next to the ferry across to canary warf, but that is about the extent of the positives."
