"Nice sized, clean room. Self service check in, with helpful staff on hand to assist. Great location, just to the side of a retail estate, so very easy to find and shops a short walk if you need to grab some food/ clothes. Unfortunately we arrived after 7m so my daughter wasn't allowed in the pool, but it was a peaceful nights sleep"

"Staff were wonderful, but we had an executive room that was in a poor state of repair to the point that the fire safety information had to be reattached to the door. The list of defects were really high from holes in the carpet mismatched furniture door strip on the bathroom door coming off to name only a few. If this was an executive room the mind boggles what the standard room must be like."

"Staff at the hotel were lovely. The room was nice. For £70 a night, including an adequate breakfast you really can't complain. Breakfast items were continually replenished and the breakfast area was kept clean. Would recommend for a short stay."

"It is set in beautiful grounds, part of the Nottingham University campus and we found it to be very quiet, almost serene. There is an outdoor sitting area overlooking a lake. It is slightly unusual in comparison to a regular hotel, the layout is obviously geared to meetings and conferences but not an issue. The reception area doubles up as a bar in the evening. "The guy at the reception was amazing me and my friend love him he was njce to talk to and make some jokes with. The rooms were sightly cold especial that the bed by a window that isnt properly secured so you coukd feel cold wind, luckily there was warm air conditioning available. "

"Had issues with the bath plug and shower temperature. Otherwise spot on, great location, terrific grounds, could not fault the service. Room handy for dogs and you can park outside. Overall we will return, and it is recommended."

"The only comment I'd make is that I couldn't access the hotel info on the TV (I looked but could not find it) - I wanted to call reception as I'd forgotten my toothbrush but did not know which number to dial on the phone. The TV remote control was not v responsive either"
