"Our stay at Ibis Como was excellent. The hotel is very well located, just a 10-minute drive from Lake Como and surrounded by numerous restaurants and shopping centers. Free parking is available, which was a great advantage for us. The room was clean, comfortable, and met all our expectations.
Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, which was very convenient for our schedule, although the variety of options could be improved. The hotel is also only a 30-minute drive from Fiera Milano, making it an ideal...
"Very charming and spotless room. The only issue was to be informed the swimming pool was closed. This should be informed during the reservation. In the beginning of the Autumn - 1st October was very hot in Menaggio ( 24oC ). After an argument with the reception they accept for me to use the swimming pool. A lot of rules regarding the restaurant area and guest areas. The approach was quite rude and confuse in my opinion."
"The hotel and the room wad nice and comfortable. Do not go expecting amenities in the room, as there were none. The buffet breakfast was good and there were plenty of choices. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The location was the best part, within 5 minutes walking from the lake, gelato seconds away"
"The breakfast was lovely and fresh, the server and staff were so friendly and welcoming. The train station to get to Varenna was so close and easy to use.
The view from our room was beyond spectacular and we wish we could have stayed longer."
"Hotel is clean and close to main attractions except breakfast was very poor one ! Like no options, fruits are not fresh at all, one of the fruit was rotten and they did not even bother to remove it ! The next day it was still there. The second day we did not have hot water, all of a sudden was broken. Also one of the staff like an elderly man in his 50’s is always scowled, and answers abruptly. Looked unhappy ! I don’t think I will recommend this hotel to anyone cause you should be there to...
"We loved it... Super clean well maintained classic hotel. Friendly staff which appeared to be the family owned business.... Definitely using them again in the future.. 🤗"
