"It is a gem if you enjoy historic buildings. It has been well preserved. It's very affordable, the room had a small bathroom so we had to get creative with our toiletries, but the bed was comfy., it had a fridge but no microwave in the room. They had one available by the ice machine that you could use. The staff were friendly and helpful. Coffee in the lobby would have been nice . "The hotel was clean, staff supportive, and the location cannot be beat. I have never stayed in such a nice university hotel (don’t even want to talk about NYU). Two thoughts though: some dining locations were closed for the summer, which was inconvenient, and also, why were all the floors so slippery?! Even the hallway carpet. Very strange. But 10/10 would stay here again! "
