"I stayed here for 4 nights total and the staff were overall not the friendliest. Most could not speak English either. They just shrug their shoulders and said they did not know to questions. The carpet in my room was not the cleanest. The room was quiet overall.
I would not stay here again. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for."
"Staff were excellent and the room was very comfortable. The only thing I took exception to was having to pay 12 euros each way in the shuttle bus for a ride that was 6 minutes away. My experience has been that this service is usually provided free of charge. Otherwise all very good and breakfast was great!"
"This was an excellent place to stay for an early flight out of Riga. Some of the photos for this property are quite out of date-- our room was refurnished, clean, and well maintained. Also, the woman running the front desk was one of the friendliest people we had encountered in our travels-- kind and warm. We stopped by a bit early in the hopes of leaving our bags at the desk until check in, but since our room was ready, she let us check in and leave them in the room. Very easy walk to the...
"It was just a quick overnight before departure from Riga airport. Good for a price we paid. We arrived before midnight and still managed to get a final spot at parking lot. Typical breakfast and just a short drive to airport."
"The room was clean but the sink was cracked and toilet seat broken. The window was too high up to open. Worst bit was it was opposite a night club that played music till 4 in the morning "
"The A1 Hotel was a great place to stay. It is very central and we walked everywhere. There are supermarkets near by and great places to eat like Tbilisi and Fish Corner. The breakfast was excellent with so much on offer, it was hard to decide what to have. The staff were all very helpful and the room was cleaned every day. The bathroom was spotless. The pool table was an added bonus.
It was our first time to Riga and we will definitely be back and stay at the A1 Hotel. It isn’t fancy, but the...
"there is no staff, only the host. It is hard to get contact with the host. The pool is not on site, hard to find it. Parking is not onsite. Hard to get in. The wardrobe is unstable, it is almost fall when open it. Dangerous for kids."
"This is an old apartment building converted into an aparthotel. No amenities on site, but the rooms are well sized and clean and there are many eateries and shops within a few minutes walk. Walking to Riga Old Town takes 15/20 minutes and public transport to anywhere is easily accessible. I had no complaints."
