"We had a lovely visit and the location is beautiful.
There were a few issues with the room such as the door kept jamming and we had trouble closing it, the ceiling lights were full of dead bugs, there was no body wash in the shower and there was a thick layer of dust on the kleenex box.
For the price we paid, it was a little disappointing and I did expect more attention to detail but the staff were lovely and very helpful.
The location is stunning and the room overall was comfortable."
"I travel a lot both in Canada and actually just got back from driving to Georgia and back and stayed at 5 different hotels.
I can't say enough good things about this hotel and the staff especially. It was the most amazing experience I have ever had staying at a hotel. Attentive, kind, friendly, amazing is how I would describe every single staff member we met from front desk staff to cleaning crew to Kitchen crew for the really great breakfast the next morning. I will never stay anywhere...
"Nice clean and quiet place to stay. Beds were comfortable. Room had the standard things most motels have plus some little extras that say we care about our guests. Unfortunately my wife and I couldn’t enjoy their continental breakfast due to restricting refined carbs and sugar in our diets. More protein choices would have been great. If you eat bread and cereal with maybe an apple that would be fine.
Regardless it was definitely a place we would stay again."
"Hotel needs an upgrade. Balcony door to our room on 2nd floor would not lock. Furniture in room was marked up. Room smelled terrible. Doors around pool location on 2nd floor were rusted & the whole place was in need of attention.
Breakfast was suppose to be hot but was old.
Overall not impressed. Will not stay at this location again."
"The unit we stayed was great! Nicely furnished, very comfortable and nice private outdoor area. We enjoyed the unit. Also had very good meals at 4 different restaurants - enjoyed those.
The reason we would not come back is there are too many rules/restrictions for renters -ie only 2 set hours at the pool, no available chairs on the beach, no use of the gym, even restricted times at the volleyball area.
As an owner of a similar type of property outside Canada when I rent my unit my...
"We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the rooms were. Having 2 units side by side was perfect for us traveling with our young kids. The pool on the property was a big hit, the kids spent a lot of time there. Would recommend!"
"When we were arrived, we were greeted by the owner who was cleaning our parking spot of the snow. Super friendly and wonderful check-in. The room was very quaint and clean (other than a bone under the bed). All was wonderful, other than there were very minimal receptacles, but we travel with enough cords to deal with our CPAP and Laptop. The Wi-Fi for the laptop kept dropping out, but other than that, we will most certainly stay again. "
"DO NOT BOOK. This is a scam. Non refundable and the place is closed permanently. The ‘host’ has disconnected numbers. Absolutely ruined weekend trip that cost a fortune that wasn’t reimbursed and we travelled hours from home. Expedia said they would find us other accommodations but nothing was available and we were on the hook for the bill. Terrible terrible terrible"
