"Friendly reception (thanks Daniel). The hotel is adjacent to the station and therefore ideal if arriving by train. It’s a little bit dated and a bit of a warren but the room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was roomy too."

"Good (cheap) location. Comfortable bed. Flooring in room had cracked making it look a bit shabby. Book breakfast online but pointless doing so, as still had to pay, went to breakfast and got locked out of our room after. Bit of bacon on the floor which just stayed there. Buffet a bit untidy, cereal everywhere. Appreciate it’s a busy day but no real excuse.

I do feel that is a bit tired and needing a makeover.
No lift or air-conditioning were a problem for us.

Bar food was very limited, overcooked, and poorly presented. Only tried on first nights stayed,then ate elsewhere.
