"Very disappointing stay I stayed at Casa Gitano after booking through Expedia. Our room had a serious bug problem with numerous insects inside. The bugs were everywhere on our clothes. The sink in our room was clogged, and staff had to come fix it. Shortly after, the hot water stopped working, and we were left having to use cold water. The pool was extremely dirty with sand and debris floating on the surface, and we were told it would take several days to clean, which they should have taken...

The staff was overly attentive and helpful + I'd highly recommend getting the ground floor beachfront rooms. Walk out into the beauty of Tulum."

The cenote on the property was a nice place to unwind and stargaze on a clear night. Location was great and close to so many yummy restaurants. Beach access through clubs is also nearby. The property was cleaned every day The view was beautiful as we were upper floor deluxe & we could see the turquoise sea through the leaves of the palms trees so I felt like I was in a jungle. At night all I could hear was the waves breaking on the beach. The staff were all very friendly & David was our waiter on the beach & looked after us very well. Thank you David "
