The security guard was slow to respond to my request to open the gate. She was surly when she did finally open it. I was again asked if I was a guest. The beach was clean considering it is sea weed season. Yes, you can hear the music but this is from other establishments across the street. I brought earplugs and had no problem falling asleep. The atmosphere wasn’t Americanized, you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the Mexican and Maya culture. The location of this place is great, literally ocean beach, and only meters away lush greenery. I wasn’t excepting the creatures comforts of a 5 star hotel, which this location doesn’t promoted itself as, however the staff was very personable and accommodative. I would recommend this place."

Although wifi wasnt always the stongest Liz and Aiden made up for it they were extremely welcoming and accomodating inlucding liz who cleans always with a smile on their face and addressing me by name!
