"Great view of Lake Lugano - but there is a building site with 2 large cranes that suggests that in a year or so that view might be obscured by a new block. Our room was value for money but the hotel seemed to us to need investment, pretty much from top to bottom. Breakfast was good. "

"We enjoyed staying at International au Lac Historic Lakeside Hotel. It is a good mix of old-style hotel with antiques with modern convenances and upgraded rooms. The location is very convenient at the lakeside end of Lugano’s upscale shopping street (Via Nessa) and just a short walk to the main square Piazza Riforma and lakeside Promenade.
