"Just average, it's rows of interconnected small rooms with little personality and a little worn, e.g. rust in the bathroom. We booked a "superior garden view room" but were placed in room 302 which had view of the beach/parking, I only realised the mistake after checkout, didn't help my overall underwhelmed impression of the hotel. "

"I came in December, which is their low season, so I was basically one of the very few people staying at the hotel. The receptionist was only around for the check-in. The cleaning staff only showed up once. The rest of the time, they expect you to call if you need help, which is not realistic for foreign travellers, especially if you are not fluent in French or Italian. The building is locked, so basic safety is not an issue. However, when the internet went out, I had no way to contact anyone...

"I stayed at this hotel in the beginning of June. The room was ok but breakfast was very basic and the bar and restaurant were not open at all during our stay. Since the rooms had no facilities for making food this meant we had to go out for all meals. I'm not sure if this changes when the summer season starts (in July?) but it should be mentioned since we expected the facilities listed on hotels.com to be available to us."

If you are looking for more luxury and facilities on tap, this may not be foe you, as there is no kettle, few plugs, no fridge, in the room and no restaurant on site etc, which in more modern hotels tends to come as standard these days. "It’s a good hotel, close to the centre, beach and the restaurants. The room we had was in the basement so nice and cool for summer stay but at the same time with very bad or no wifi signal. There is also a swimming pool available but we haven’t used it. If you’re heading for the beach you’ll need a parasol!! The local area is small but pretty. We have mainly stayed there for the boat ride to Scandola natural reserve which was mind blowing."
