"Just average, it's rows of interconnected small rooms with little personality and a little worn, e.g. rust in the bathroom. We booked a "superior garden view room" but were placed in room 302 which had view of the beach/parking, I only realised the mistake after checkout, didn't help my overall underwhelmed impression of the hotel. "A brilliant construction and location in the stunning gorge location. Lovely room and large patio to enjoy breakfast alongside the roaring river. Parking was manageable at the roadside, and the lift ideal between floors. The owner and waitress were charming and informative, but we were both startled and disappointed at the continuing grumbles from the receptionist, especially when asked about messages that my daughter had sent there."

"This is not a luxury hotel, BUT if your interest is a calm "refuge" this is the place for you. It is located along the Restonica River. Grab a seat along the bank and take in the peace. The walls are a little thin. You can hear the people in the room next door taking a shower, but don't let that stop you from staying there. "Very clean and modern. We had a large spacious room with 2 beds, one king and one twin. We had a little outside patio as well as a little table inside for eating. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Easy access to the old city but the walking is mostly uphill. Pool was very small, only for dipping not for swimming."

"I stayed at this hotel in the beginning of June. The room was ok but breakfast was very basic and the bar and restaurant were not open at all during our stay. Since the rooms had no facilities for making food this meant we had to go out for all meals. I'm not sure if this changes when the summer season starts (in July?) but it should be mentioned since we expected the facilities listed on hotels.com to be available to us."

"This is a beautiful vacation spot in a “village de vacances” with a beach 5-10 min by foot from the reception. Exceptional views of the Lava Bay, sunsets, mountains. Snack bar/evening bar offers on-site pizzeria and live concerts. Big pool area with a separate sundeck. Short drive to Ajaccio. Only strong recommendation would be to update the interior of the rooms. Some amenities (wc, shower, bathroom) are from the past century. "
