"I chose The Royal as there was a positive review about being good for solo travellers. This was my experience too. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful . It was easy to find and has easy access to the sea front. The hotel's location meant that I felt safe to walk alone in the evening , as I wanted to try local restaurants.
