"What a lovely gem to luck into : close to the isle 0f Skye ( just over the bridge ) but well placed , quiet and proudly Scots ( great tartan i go in the corridor walls ). We hopped over the bridge for a meal then relaxed in the super clean rooms . There’s a great guest sitting room with lots of squishy sofas but we were too tired to enjoy . "I had an excellent stay at the Sligachan Hotel. The hotel is steps away from breathtaking scenery for walking or hiking and a quick bus/car ride to Portree for shopping and dinner. Martin, the manager, was so helpful and kind. He drove my friend and I from Portree to our train because the bus schedule that day was not aligning well with our train schedule and morning activities. "The cabin we stayed in was lovely with spectacular views. It was cozy and had everything you could think of. Close to restaurants and food shopping and a great jumping off point for touring the Isle of Skye. Great place !"

"Thia hotel was really nice. In a very quiet area in Isle of skie. I loved the landacape, the old building and how they repserved everything. It is true it doesn't have elevator but it is not a reason to discredit all the plus and how comfortable they made us feel. Breakfast was really good and service exceptional. "
