"This was hands down the worst experience I’ve had at a property . To start when we got there we were told no outside food or drink was allowed in the property because we need to buy there food and drinks like wth I can’t bring left overs weird then walking towards the room everything was turned off and it was a ghost town water slides off infants water park off rock climbing nothing no amenities were activity or able to be used I kept walking towards the room . Getting to the room AC didn’t work...

"I've been coming back for more than 20 years, even before the new owners upgraded everything. This hotel is the best value in San Juan Del Sur. Next to cathedral and main park, walk to everything. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and fully bilingual. The neighborhood while very close in is quiet and safe. Its just below Pelican Eyes at half the price. Rooms and beds light, airy and comfortable even at the lower price point. All town's amenities are a few steps away."

"The staff was very helpful. My Spanish is not good but they understood me fine. The manager/owner speaks very good English and is a real nice guy. He and his wife are very friendly and helpful. The place is only a few blocks from the beach and very affordable. No noisy bars just peace and quite. The place was clean and quite with great AC. You can use the kitchen to cook and they always have free drinking water available. Right next to a park and playground for kids and their prices can't be...
"There was no one at the reception. We wait almost 25 minutes for someone to show up. We look in every room, bathroom, we called while waiting there and still no one showed up. Then I call another number I found and a very angry sir answered questioning if I have a reservation and where I made it. He showed up and he said he didnf even know about it because expedia didnt notify him and he didnt have the room we booked so he gave us one for 6 people which is fine but there were not towels ready,...
