"Really excellent hotel and well-located in the middle of Lyme Regis. Unfortunately because of the heat the pool wasn't open, but that didn't matter because the sea was clean and great to swim in. The breakfasts were excellent, and staff very friendly. Highly recommend."
"Lovely staff and a comfy bed saved this property from a less favorable review. It feels like a converted hospital where the interior designer ran out of money. But, it is LITERALLY opposite the station if you need to catch a train. And they have gorgeous looking cannoli. Good in a pinch."
"We had a room on the front, no air, room not aired, constant road noise all through the night. Mattress stained, carpet stained. Tables sticky in the restaurant - avoided breakfast."
"Hotel was in good condition, however one of the lights for bedtime reading was blown and the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied, but for one night, it was ok.
Food was not the best both breakfast and evening. Breakfast hot food was barely warm and evening was the same after waiting 30mins after ordering and only being us and another couple dining. There was a restaurant next door however they fill up fast and had no spaces for us, hence eating in the hotel.

"The pub was in an ideal location and although on a busy road, we were not bothered by any traffic noise.
The staff seemed rushed off their feet and we waited a while for our food with no offer of being able to order another drink whilst we were waiting.
However, this has not put us off returning as the food and accommodation was excellent and the staff were very friendly."
"All excellent as expected. Wonderful staff, excellent food you were really treated like an important diner. Room was great (shower a little small) huge bath though.

"This hotel does not have staff as you do a self check in so it is not possible to rate this part of the survey. The hotel offers no amenities, however there is a kettle and tea/coffee provided . The room was perfectly fine for one night. Comfortable and clean although needs updating and there was a bleach stain on the carpet. The room was unbearably hot. A fan was provided but it was not affective in the size of the room so maybe worth the hotel provided a second fan. Other than that not a bad...
"The property is a very old one and hence a bit quirky but that’s fine. My room for instance was small with the sink in the main bedroom whilst the loo and shower were in the en suite but that was fine as I was by myself. The owners had put such thought into meeting my every need which was greatly appreciated- in the bedroom I couldn’t have wanted for anything more. "Only stayed for one night. Room was spotlessly clean and bed comfy. Arrived late and food looked amazing but had already eaten! Breakfast the following morning was great. I would definitely stay again"
