"The hotel is simple with lovely landscaping. The staff are all great people, very friendly and engaging. In particular Donald in the restaurant. Also Jennifer at the front desk, who made sure any issues were dealt with promptly. The groundskeeper whose name I do not remember is a super friendly gentleman. The rooms were cleaned daily, the cleaning staff are efficient and friendly as well. We will definitely return to this hotel the next time we come to this area. This hotel is a very good value...

"Very unique place, artsy, non-corporate, delightful. Bungalows had covered porches with very comfortable outdoor furniture, including tables, couches, fans and lighting. AC worked great. Ilse and her staff are incredibly responsive and go out of their way to make this a wonderful and welcoming place. Breakfast is right on the beach but in the shade of trees and umbrellas. "This is truly a gem of a stay. Everything is so close…beaches, supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, shopping. Gated with good parking and plenty of shade. Three pools to choose from and the nicest staff we had our whole trip to CR. Highly recommend!"

"The location and vibe was perfect for us! The room was simple, neat, clean and they honored our request for a room with the couch. The bathrooms could use an update or refresh. They are dated. The restaurant was delicious and a nice surprise in this sleepy town. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Took advantage of yoga which was great. The pools are very small but lots of lounges, hammocks, ping pong and a great lending library! Will definitely return to this sleepy but fabulous town! "

"Marie was an outstanding hostess. She was very organized and answered all our questions before and during the visit. She was helpful in organizing transportation to and from the hotel and a lovely trip to a Volcano. The facilities were fantastic with the small kitchen to make a small breakfast in the morning and a lovely outdoor shower. It was a six minute walk to the main beach and lots of restaurants, shops and groceries. I would highly recommend this facility for adults only and will...
