"The property was in a decent area with beach access even though we didn’t go on the beach. The pool bar only had low-tier alcohol. There was no seating at the pool bar. There was no fan at the pool bar (badly needed). The servers at the morning breakfast weren’t friendly and looked like they didn’t want to be there. A half a smile goes a long way. A couple of times they were fussing about something while the guests were around. The front desk was helpful. Decent job of keeping the pool clean....

"I checked in around 5:30 pm and there was no receptionist. I was escorted to my room by the very friendly and apologetic security officer. The first sight that greeted me was lizard poop on the armchair and a big fat lizard on the wall above. I could not stay in this room so I was escorted to the one next door. I didn’t feel safe in this room as the balcony door did not close properly and therefore could not lock. The door track was filthy. Additionally the latch above the entry door was...
"Truthfully, initially, I was very disappointed because the property seemed dated. The next day, though we went through to the back and it was very beautiful by the beach and the pool.
I would recommend the adjoining restaurant, it's reasonably priced, and the service was commendable."
"The water pressure in the cabin shower was very low, so prepare to take a little more time to shower. The staff were very friendly and the facility generally met expectations for the price."
"The owner/manager of this property was very welcoming and understanding of our situation and did everything he could to facilitate us on short notice. The pool in the property overlooks a slight hill so it makes for a nice touch. We felt very safe and the place is in a very quiet and serene area. We definitely look forward to staying here again once we are in Tobago. "
