Limited food. We were seated and given the menu for dinner but was then told that the options were limited. Chicken, fish or Ribeye steaks. No appetizers, salads, soups or desserts. No exactly what you would expect from a resort.

Employees have an attitude, Wi-Fi works in the lobby, intermittently in the room, and never in the restaurant. Water pressure issues in the shower. Room was clean but had an odor. Mattress needs to be replaced. TV didn't work "weak signal." Half the items on the restaurant menu were not available. Very few guests. Not returning to this hotel.

I really needed a break and I got one at Mt Irving Bay Resort. Not fussy, beautiful beach vibes and nature luxury. The room and grounds are clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and approachable. It’s the simple things in life and I think Mt Irving Bay Resort gets it! Thank you.

Really nice location, if looking for a quiet and relaxing break. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only negative was the quality of the Wi-Fi in the rooms which was weak, but good quality wi-fi available in the reception area.

The property is located in a nice area of the island, walking distance from the beach. It was very quiet. The room was was not fancy, but was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had issues with the wifi coverage in the room. There was only coverage on the patio and outside of the room entrance.

The television in the room did not work & we were told that there was an issue with the cable company .However, there should have been a back up plan so we could have watched local Channels at least. The property is dated, and undersubscribed at the time, so staff seemed below standard. The meal options were extremely limited. On day 1, it was quite difficult to gather whwre lunch was served, as the mentioned areas werent manned..but the staff friendliness improved and reception staff was very accommodating.

Staff was really nice. The place is also Beautiful with nice ocean views. The are doing some renovations on some of the rooms so we did hear an occasional drilling or hammer but once you are in the room you hear notting. Room we got was pretty and had a modern feel but stepping out on the balcony you feel like you are in nature. Beach was a 5-10min walk and you have to cross the road. We went to a fish fry even on the beach hosted by the hotel on the beach and it was really good, food and bon fire was exciting. We did not use the pool and much other amenities but the free breakfast on a morning was great and enough to start your days on the right foot.

After a storm, there was no WiFi for a week despite other hotels having it. The room was not cleaned during the entire stay and the hotel is in desperate need of maintenance. The restaurant is also overpriced with no other (safe) options nearby. That said, some of the staff were very helpful and kind.
