"Keep your expectations realistic and you will love this place. This is not the Four Seasons, it's a quaint, self-check in style lodge that is clean and spacious. You will be sharing the common areas (kitchen and living room) of the Inn with other travelers. The room and closet are huge. It is a 5 minute drive to Volcanoes National Park and I would absolutely stay here again. The innkeeper is easy to reach if needed but if you follow the instructions you probably wont need any help. "This lovely secluded rain forest cabin is wonderfully private, very close to the park, and the owners are extremely responsive (by text). They provide coffee and bottled water (although the filtered rain water is fine too). Note that it’s a pretty big place so takes a bit to warm up on cold wet days, but worth it!"

"Nice rustic place. We normally stay in 4 and 5 * hotels and this was not that but it was a cool little spot for what the town is. It’s remote with not a lot of choices. The room was clean and if we can’t get a room in the park again when we’re there next, we will try to stay here again. "

"It was no contact with the staff after 6pm, I texted the staff around 5:40pm because there was no coffee at all in the room, but she never responded, so we left early next morning. $425 a day for that small bungalow room without any service was how much very expensive. When we arrived around 4:30pm and we were waiting with another couple to check in but there was no staff in the check-in area."
