"The hotel is in a good location, and there is a really nice walking trail right around the property. The rooms are a bit dated and on the small side, but overall we enjoyed our stay."

"Clean room, quiet place to stay, very close to Volcano National park."

"We stayed at this property before and enjoyed stay."

"The location was great! Minutes from Volcanoes National Park! Also it was close to some restaurants and gas! The place was spacious and had comfortable bedding. There was a heater for cooler nights! The coffee pod machine and fridge are such nice features!!!"

"very very good!"

"Punawai Hale Barn Bungalow at this property is a wonderfully atmospheric and memorable place to stay. The spacious room with its tropical décor feels warm and inviting, and the sunroom overlooking a lively duck pond adds a peaceful charm. With ducks, chickens, cockerels, sheep, and goats roaming the grounds, the property feels lovingly crafted and uniquely farm‑like, making our stay both relaxing and distinctive — but it’s best suited for guests who enjoy animals and don’t mind a farm‑style...

"This charming property is incredibly well maintained and the staff go above and beyond. All the extras we added on were worth it. Its a very special spot that I would recommend to anyone."

"The property was clean, the staff was very attentive to ensure we had what we needed, and the checkout was very easy."

"Love the location! Friendly staff and amazing breakfast each morning!!!"

"A must visit for a relaxing getaway. "

"If you like to see the sunset, starlight and red lava at night, stay at this hotel. Staying here was the best decision for me during the trip in the big island. Do not forget to reserve a room of a volcano view. The hotel itself is a vintage but well maintained and the room was bigger than I anticipated."

"Great stay and place!"

"Great property located near the Volcanoes National Park and the Volcano Village with art galleries and restaurants. The duplex was relatively new and tastefully decorated located in a forested property."

"We have been staying in cabins for close to 30 years and this is one of the best places we've ever stayed at. Everything about the cabin is exceptional. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Volcanos National Park."

"This property the Aloha Green House Retreat is beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and clean. The host “Ruth” is super nice and organized. The house is located in a quiet, safe, and affluent neighborhood. The plus is the view of the ocean. This place is a must stay. "

"Very clean, has everything you need to stay for a week. Large space, big enough for 6 people. Nice location, close to Volcano NP. Water pressure is a bit lacking."

"Excellent host. Property is clean and very comfortable. We would highly recommend."

"The home was very clean, modern and nicely decorated. Hot tub was clean and hot. Location is fantastic, as it’s in a beautiful forested area. If you’re fortunate to have a clear night the stars are just ridiculously amazing. Highly recommended."
