"Very happy with our stay at this hotel. Plenty of parking. You register your car with their system so you don't get charged. The breakfast was nice, rooms clean and had everything you would need. Very happy with our stay and would choose to stay again."
"Stayed at The Royal Hotel in Mundesly(its not Norwich at all) for three nights over the August Bank Holiday. We cannot praise it enough. The staff were excellent. We witnessed customer care that went above the norm. We would name Will, attentive, friendly and efficient in the bar and restaurant area. The chef, Nita, who looked after breakfast and the restaurant. We witnessed her offer to fetch an elderly guest toast despite being very busy. She interacted with everyone whilst cooking, clearing...
"Convenient access if traveling to and from nearby airports. Rooms are basic, but absolutely no airflow, even with a fan, and very difficult to sleep when the room is so hot. In general, this is feedback for many hotels that don’t have air-conditioning and it will be an health and safetyissue that is going to need to be addressed sooner than later."

"Obviously the location is beautiful but the hotel is in need of TLC. This is not reflected in the price as it did not include breakfast. The two ladies running the bar and waiting on tables were totally rushed off their feet as they were also checking clients into hotel, booking breakfasts, taking food orders and answering queries. "Lovely staff, good location to explore the area by car, however pretty tired in need of new bathrooms, and flooring in corridoors and breakfast dining room need updating, pool was heated but not enough and also in need of regrouting around all the edge coping stones. In room kettles need descaling and tvs are really small from lile the 90s, breakfast was really good with a nice simple selection and everything cooked fresh. In summary, clean and good value but in need of a light refurb."
"Room and bathroom clean and spacious. Bar and food good. Staff friendly. Buses outside to nearby villages. Train station 5 mins which was really useful for getting around and local shop, pub and cafe 5 mins. Social club 5 mins. Great band and friendly people. Car parking at rear. Beach 10 mins."
"Balcony was unusable. Unstable plastic tall barstools which were useless and very uncommon. With armchairs dragged out of the room you couldn’t see over the tall concrete balcony at all. Paid extra for a room with a view!!
Management were rude and snobby. Not willing to help at all. We were shown two other rooms of the same type exactly but refurbished at least. Minutes later when we said we’d try to check out, because these rooms suddenly became unavailable, this woman offered no help at all....

"The whole place was a bit dingy with tired decor and furnishings. Lack of decent reliable WiFi in the rooms was a big drawback. Room resembled a prison cell. Clean and good quality bedding was one of the few plus points. I expected something like a Travelodge for the price paid and was very disappointed."

Free standing bath made a nice change also with shower hose.complimentary shower gel , shampoo and body lotion .Warning though!
