"Very helpful, friendly and great staff. They put a lot on for the kids and families which was great. Whole campsite was family friendly. Beds were super comfy. Only thing was our cabin was quite run down, needed some tlc and a very big deep clean."

"Our room was clean and well appointed. It was an adequate size with a separate bathroom. The place is a little dated but clean and comfortable. The bed was a generous size and was comfortable. Unfortunately we were in the corner unit 1 to the left of the reception area and the outlook was the back of the office with cleaining equipment and rubbish bins. "The beds were very old and the springs were gone and it was hard. The bathroom floor was rotting and the shower was spraying through the curtain."

"Clean, functional, comfortable bed. Good selection of tea, coffee, etc."

"Very unique, memorable accommodation. Lovely rural location, so restful, the gardens are stunning. Loved it!!"

"I would recommend staying somewhere else. Bugs everywhere in the room, especially when it was night. I stayed in room 10 which sits in the sun all day. "I was well cared for at the House with No Nails! The property is beautiful & clean, & in a gorgeous rural setting set amidst mountains, big blue skies, & farm animals. The house is an easy 25 minute drive from the Hobbiton set in Matamata, which was my plan while in this area of NZ. Highly recommended!"

"This property is in a great location for travel between Wellington and Auckland. Easy dining options within walking distance but no on site food options. Spacious room with excellent in-room amenities for short or long stays"
