Anyone who has stayed in Paris knows what a 4 storey walk up is like - all those stairs can be a challenge, especially with luggage. "Property is run down and in poor condition. Zero in person contact at reception, only telephone calls. You need to phone on arrival to get key from lockbox. Room was old, door had been forced open at some point with crowbar, TV would not work, heater did not function, showerhead broken, security chain broken, deadlock bolts on both doors loose.
