"Location is the reason to stay here: literally *between* the visitor center and the monastic ruins that are the reason to visit Glendronagh. Perhaps that enables the seemingly casual attitude toward getting details right, re cleaning, housekeeping, and even record keeping. This was the only dirty hotel we encountered in a month in Ireland."
"My room was disappointing compared with my first visit. I’m sorry to say that there was a bit of a smell in the room that suggested stale urine.
Otherwise everything was good."
"Die Personen an der Rezeptionen waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war groß und hatte ein großes Bett (für 2 Personen) und ein kleines Bett. Das Zimmer war sauber und ruhig gelegen. Hospitality was next level, truly. Rooms were updated, fresh pastries delivered to your door each morning, stocked fridge with meat, cheese, grapes, sparkling apple juice, fresh milk, water… just incredible. My wife had the best espresso martini she’s ever had in the (I think new?) pub/restaurant attached.
And, the town… AMAZING. Picturesque. It felt like a...
"Second time to say here within a few weeks. One of our favourite places to stay. Very friendly staff, good food, comfortable room, and lovely location in the Vale of Avoca. All good."
