"Stayed for three nights visiting Drupa. Room is very small but superbly laid out making it feel better than a much larger room. Plenty of power, lighting choices and everything sparkled. Wifi not great, lots of street noise all day and all night. Bring ear plugs. Buffet super continental with a view of station and cathedral. Doesn’t get any better. Staff lovely and helpful. Genuinely enjoyed my stay - and for the price worth every penny. Thank you!"

"Quiet place but clean. Front desk was friendly. We had a car so we drove around for the most part, they had free on site parking outside and in the garage. I did see bus stops around the area when walking to the bakery. There is a bakery two minutes away from the hotel which had really nice baked goods. Grocery store near by if you want to buy snacks. "Check in was easy, room was ready early! Room was large size, bathroom too. Bed was comfortable. Shower was small and shower-head was not working well, would not stay in place. blow dryer stopped after a few minutes. Room was quiet at night. There is no A/C in the room, but had large windows - you can open Breakfast was included and very good. Location is next to Cathedral and Train Station - very short walk. You can see Cathedral! Overall - good stay."

"Highly recommend for anyone who has a loved one staying at the ATOS Orthoparc Klinik. Essential by Dorint Köln is a 7 minute WALK to the hospital. This made daily visits possible as the commute from where we live would be an hour each way. "Property and rooms were older looking. The lounge was unstaffed and did not appear functional. Rooms were large. Breakfast looked good, with one guy making eggs but no one was there. "

"Very nice hotel, central to the Messe and Ruttenschied which in Essen is very important. It was clean, comfortable with a friendly and helpful staff. Parking can be challenging in the area, but the hotel has its own parking as well. This is the first time I have stayed but will be looking to it as my first choice from now on as I need to visit the city."
