"We booked our room above this friendly pub at the last minute, as it offered great value for money. It's a very short walk from the seafront, and the town centre. This is an old building, with uneven floors. Room 5 was ensuite, and really spacious, but definitely not modern. It was clean, but the bed was very squeaky! There was a kettle in the room, with tea and coffee. No toiletries, other than soap. The shower was stuck on a very warm temperature. No breakfast available, but the lovely Chatterbox Cafe is a few steps away. We had dinner at the pub, which was excellent value for money (2 main meals for £12.49). Drinks are also really cheap. A bottle of prosecco was just £16! If you're looking for luxury, this is not the place. If you’re looking for great value for money, and a bed for the night, this does the job. "
