The kitchen was well appointed and they provided dishwasher and laundry detergent. The ladies at the front desk were also extremely helpful and kind. I had a bit of trouble with my after hours check in, and the property manager called first thing in the morning to make sure everything turned out okay. "This property was great if your looking for a quiet few days ... beach walks, bike trails... pool was lovely after a day out ... shopping center close by ... we had NUMBER 4 apartment, lovely on the ground floor with outlook over beach... was great with electronic key to access room but would be nice to have a key for door at the front so you can come an go from there . overall a fantastic time was had ..."

"The bathroom ceiling and some parts of the wall had patches of mould, the shower rose kept falling down, we had to hold it with one hand and wash yourself with the other, the water spout on the bathroom basin was loose and nearly falling off, the hair dryer didn’t work, the vinyl floor planks around the beds were lifting and had big gaps between them, the restraints advertised was non existent. The photos shown on their website must have been taken years ago, our room was in poor shape "

"Since the cyclone sadly much of the dining in port Douglas and palm cove remain partially closed but Trinity Beach has a great selection along the waterfront with live music some nights what also surprised us was the little shopping centre on the road in that looks likes it’s only a real estate agent from the road but has great take away options Asian kebabs Japanese sushi bakeries and a sourdough baker Tyson in reception couldn’t have been more helpful with a warm welcome and local...

"We had a wonderful stay at the Mango Lagoon and would highly recommend! Beautiful, well maintained pools which are lit up at night, with multiple sun lounging areas. Very helpful and friendly staff who are happy to give advice about activities to do during the stay. Brilliant happy hour with delicious cocktails. No food available, but with it being so close to other restaurants and shops we didn’t find this an issue. There is a also a well maintained bbq which we didn’t get round to using but...

"Lychee Tree Holiday Apartments was simply perfect for our family trip to North Queensland. We had three parties needing multiple rooms, and several kids to cater for. Across three apartments we had more than enough space and amenities that we could have meals together, swim in the pool every day, get in and out of town easily walking or by car, and also have private time depending on who needed sleep and when. Having our own kitchens and lounge/dining was essential so that we didn’t have to eat...
