"The staff were very obliging and helpful, always smiling and approchable. Pleasant lovely to my two bichons always took time to fuss them. A large green to walk my dogs.
The premises were clean and tidy.
Parking was excellent 👌.
Breakfast was lovely and tasty, and plenty of it, a good selection.
First time I've used Purdy Lodge, but will certainly use it again.
Very reasonably priced also.
Also looked out onto green fields.
The only thing I could find was the fact that there were no Subtitles...
"Nice room although not very private in terms of balcony area -in full display of pub garden!! Good location for boat to Farne Islands and travelling to Lindisfarne etc. Very small car park."
"Staff totally dedicated to ensuring the best guest experience. Annemarie was a credit to the place. It was lovely to chat with the owner over breakfast. Both the hospitality tray and breakfast put many other establishments' offerings to shame. The view from room 8 was lovely. We will definitely return. Thank you"
"We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Our room (127) was spacious and well equipped, in a quieter position looking over the car park away from but conveniently located for the main road. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent too. Would definitely recommend and stay here again 👍"
"The Bathroom had Black all around the Bath taps that was removable with a cloth, we had to go outside and walk over stones and up steps with our cases.
The Breakfast was very good ."
"Let me,start by saying all the staff were absilutely brilliant and friendly. Hitel gowever seems to be in a state or ill repair. Paint falling off walls and ceilings. Curtainscthat didn't close fully. Heating was never on and very cold in am. Carpets filthy. Door to my room was in very bad state. Just think whoever owns this needs to get his finger out and invest in the property and staff. Not good."

"Beautiful room with lots of lovely touches including the cookies and the cafeteria coffee. The choice of breakfast was really good and the coffee was great. The staff were attentive and very welcoming and gave us good suggestions of where to go and where was good to eat. A very special place we hope to go back soon.

What an amazing atmosphere the people were just so lovely.
We’ll be back again and hopefully join in this time.
The landlady Clair had seen us standing and came over and found us a table. Although we didn’t have tickets for the quiz we felt very much a part of it
