"Little bit of confusion at check in which was quickly and easily sorted out by the staff. Apparently hotels.com and the hotel aren’t compatible when booking so I’d call ahead if you are staying here to cover any issues before you arrive. Either way, we got a room that we were expecting and breakfast. Room was large and comfortable, very clean."

"Everything was very good. However having to go downstairs for milk when you expect some milk in the room and only have to go down for extras. The hotel staff and stay was excellent. Do be aware that the carpark is private and costs a lot! This will stop me staying next time "

"Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. There were a couple of issues with my room, but they were sorted straight away. This is a very basic 'dry' hotel originally built for offshore rig workers so set your expectations accordingly. That said it's about a third of the price of the posh one next door which does have a bar. The airport check-in desks are about 600m away, ish, so a very easy walk. The bed was comfortable and roomy for one, but two might be 'cosy'. Also, surprisingly quiet....

"Myself and my sister spent two nights at the Loftsome Bridge and found the staff very friendly and helpful the location was ideal as we were visiting relations in Goole and also spent a day in York the food is superb and we felt very safe during our stay"

"The Hoel is located within two minutes walk of the centre of town which has many places to eat, drink, shop etc. Staff are fantastic. My room although a bit dated was large and very comfortable with all expected amenities. Excellent value for money and highly recommended. "

We experienced different people doing the same role over our two days, they all were the above. Prior to booking in, we had endured a six and a half hour journey from Hertfordshire, with the A1 a virtual cark park at certain points, this included being taken on a one way street tour of central Hull once we had crossed the Humber Toll...

"I didn't expect much for the very modest price I paid. This is, after all, a pub with rooms. The room was clean but a bit shabby and basic, about what I expected. The bed was a little unforgiving and my sleep quality wasn't quite what I usually get. Breakfast was exactly as dscribed and was perfectly adequate apart from the really weak filter coffee. Our breakfast host did appear flustered, slightly "falty towers" in approach. Would I stay again? Yes I would. "
