"This hotel was close to many of the places we wanted to visit in Furnas. A good amount of restaurant options within walking distance, as well. They were kind enough to let us check in early as we came in after an overnight flight. Very much appreciated. Our room was spacious and had air conditioning. "

"The guesthouse is modern and very very clean. The staff are really lovely and helpful. There was a lot on offer for breakfast. The pool is cold but bigger than expected and a nice relaxing area. There is a dog nearby that barks constantly early in the morning and in the evening but that’s not the guesthouse’s fault. The shower doesn’t have very strong pressure so it took me a long time to rinse my hair 😅 The lady who messaged me prior to my stay was kind and helpful. I found eating out difficult as a vegetarian in this area. We couldn’t get a table at the black whale, who we had read catered for vegetarians. The beaches were easy walks away and the bus into ponta Delgada was very easy too. The room had everything we needed and I’d recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay on the island. "We were met with a handshake and engaging conversation by the hotel’s administrator. We sat in the living room on couches to get checked in. We were personally escorted around the hotel showing us much history of the building, where breakfast would be served, where the pool was, etc. The room was beautiful! We stayed in a spacious suite and had a nice quiet room. We would definitely stay there again if we have the opportunity. "
