"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our visit. The hotel was lovely, clean, and comfortable, and the location was perfect for getting around and exploring the area. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily recommend this hotel to others. We would definitely stay here again"
"The gal at the front desk was amazing, I’d only had three hours of sleep because I went to the Prodigy gig the night before and then I decided this was a decent place to crash for the night. I got in early and while I was willing to sleep in my car until time to check in, she went above and beyond to get me sorted.
There was also a really lovely lady who was working on my floor doing housekeeping who I chatted with briefly. She told me to go in and get my head down, and was just so friendly....
"What a lovely welcoming Hotel. Loved the ambience from the moment we walked in the door. Reception staff excellent. Our room was also very nice. We had dinner and this was so good. 5 stars all round."
"What a wonderful stay! The room was very comfortable, particularly the bed! Restaurant food was top notch and prices were very reasonable. We would definitely stay there again."
"Lovely place, check in was easy & place was clean, nice area. Bathroom door was quite difficult to close. Steep Stairs made it hard to bring suitcases up. Overall we had a great stay."
"So it was the cheapest hotel in and around Glasgow so we booked it. It advertised check in from 1400 onwards, and didnt say there was a time you couldnt check in afterwards with that.
We had a day out, train was due back into Glasgow at 2143, got back around 2200, got a train to Hamilton West, walked to hotel, got there around 11, and we saw it was locked with no way in. We then scoured the email that we got, only to see in the wall of text that max check in was 9pm, which in my opinion should...
"This was a great value bed for the night. We were in Blantyre for a birthday party and this location was a convenient 10 minute walk from the station and 15 minute walk to the party menu.
The room is very basic but has TV and coffee/tea available. The room is over a pub but the pub was closed when we returned from our event.
For basic needs at a very fair price this is a good choice but would not suit people looking for Premier Inn style comfort."
"Great location and absolutely wonderful
Staff. Tracey at reception was absolutely lovely. Beds are clean and comfy.
This hotel could do with a thorough deep clean though. Dust and stains on walls, and carpet is questionable. It’s fine for a one.night stay."
