"Mein Zimmer war nicht geputzt. Es lagen Haare im Bett, am Fußboden und in der Dusche. Ich verließ noch am selben Tag das Zimmer und buchte mir eine andere Unterkunft! Würde dort nicht mehr hinfahren!"
"Absolutely lovely hotel with the most amazing and helpful staff! Super clean, delicious breakfast selection and the rooftop sauna was a perfect end to each day. Highly recommended and I will definitely stay here again!"
"The room was spacious and comfortable, and the balcony had a fantastic view overlooking the Dachstein mountains.
The location was also very convenient for exploring the area, especially Hallstatt, which was easy to reach by car. Parking was easy and convenient as well.
The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. There was a great variety of choices, and everything was enjoyable."
"The check-in was about 8km away (which was in town and the house was out of town). When we got to the location it was not marked and we only knew it from the picture on the reservation. There was no one there which we knew but there was nothing there telling you the internet password- luckily, we saw someone else who told us. We sent 4 messages to the host and it took over 24 hours for a response. The room was large and clean except for all the bugs & flys (at checkout they simply said it was...
"We stayed one night to visit Halstatt. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and functional. Delicious breakfast. We had a car and the free parking was a two minute walk. There’s a pizzeria next door for dining options. The beds were comfortable and the AC was a great bonus. Thank you"
"Super clean apartment, owners were vety nice and helpful. There was everything we needed. Little kitchen was cude. We would only need to open it a bit earlier. ( it is closed
22.00-8.30 ). Supermarkets are nerby. All surounded by beautiful mountains."
"If you’re looking for affordable accommodation close to Hallstatt without paying Hallstatt prices, JUFA Hotel Altaussee is a reasonable choice, particularly for families with children. The location is excellent, surrounded by beautiful scenery, and the hotel offers good family-friendly facilities. (JUFA Hotels)
That said, manage your expectations. The rooms are clean but very basic, and on the small side. They are perfectly adequate for a short stay but lack the comfort and character you...
"We wanted a budget conscious stay in the Alps and this did not disappoint. We stayed in a two bedroom that allowed our 7-person group to stay together. The views from the hostel are beautiful. The hostel offers several options for sporting facilities, like soccer, volleyball, trampoline, and even an indoor electronic futsal arena that is quite fun. There are four hammocks that allow you to relax and soak in the view of the valley and the mountains. There are a few restaurants walkable from the...
