"The room was a bit minimalist but perfectly adequate for my needs & the price. The room was spotless & an extra pillow & lighter blanket was provided upon request as it was quite hot. There's no air-con but the shutters keep the worst of the sun off the room & the window opens. 2 bottles of water (plain & sparkling) were provided every day plus the biscotti/macaroni every evening. "Not being able to easily leave suitcases at reception , because it’s more like serviced rooms than a hotel was difficult but being able to check in at 12 and access our room straight away was really good . "

The hotel has a great staff, updated rooms, wonderful location with walkable shoppes and restaurants, and the transit system can get you anywhere quickly. Stay here when visiting Basel for a real small village swiss experience. "

"My stay at this hotel was pretty faultless . I enjoyed myself. There is an 18 hole golf course on site which if id had my clubs would have made it most excellent as the course looked very well maintained. The bed was uncomfortable due to memory foam hole in centre . The service was very good and also i couldnt have wished for a better breakfast each morning , that was most welcome "
