"Very nice clean place to stay. Everything is beautiful, the staff is friendly and the food is good. The only down sides was the shuttle to take you to your room took a long time to get to you so many times we had to walk a very steep up hill to our rooms. There's also no close bathrooms by the pool so that was also a long walk, especially with kids that like to tell you last minute they need to pee. I also wish they had a snack bar or something smaller than going into a restaurant to order some...

"I have stayed here multiple times. Its always quiet and peaceful and the pool area is never crowded. I really want to give it a 5 star review but the breakfast food is horrible. The only plus side is my stay is very reasonably priced so next time i will just go out to eat. Besides that the place was perfect. "

"It was one of the most beautiful places I stayed at in Costa Rica! Mine was a patio room looking right at the mountain with lush gardens right in front of the patio. If I ever decide to visit Costa Rica again, Arenal Observatory Lodge will be my first choice to stay in that area! I highly recommend this Lodge to anyone planning to visit Arenal Volcano at Costa Rica."

"We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic hotel right in the heart of Monteverde. Our room was modern and comfortable with amazing rainforest views. "I loved the views this property gave! The room was basic but clean. But the VIEWS were everything! I loved the fact that they had a hiking trail on property, it was a good distance trail that gave a decent workout. We didn't eat at the restaurant but the drinks were good. The pool is well kept but there wasn't a pool bar like it advertised. Definitely would need a car to get anywhere since it's located about 30 minutes from most activities. I would stay again just for the views and peaceful...
