"Fantastic location - walkable from Abraão, but with a feel of really being in the middle of nature.
The view from the room is wonderful and we spent a lot of time just relaxing on the balcony.
The staff were kind and helpful throughout and the breakfast was just right to get us energized for the day.
The trail to Lopes Mendes is close to the property too. Visit the museum next door when staying. It is beautiful and interesting. Very much recommended"
"Great location, but our room had MOLD. Gross, not to mention potentially harmful. First staff reaction was a shrug, "it's humid here and we have no spare rooms." After we noted it could be a health hazard to stay in the room, they found another room for us. That room was fine. The overall place is attractive, with nice views of courtyard and colonial rooftop architecture. Breakfast decent, too. But be sure to request a room without mold."

"The staff were wonderful, welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location is about 10 minutes walk from the town via the beach. The beach and bars are 2 minutes walk and beautiful. Breakfast was ok. We had a garden room, the garden furniture was mildew, and unusable. There was a broken lounger. Our room was basic but smelled of damp/ mildew. Daily housekeeping and the room was clean."

En revanche, attention si vous souhaitez rejoindre le centre de l’île. Il faut prévoir une bonne quinzaine de minutes de marche, avec un chemin qui peut être difficile, surtout avec des bagages.
À notre arrivée, nous n’avions reçu aucune information de la part de l’hôtel, ni par e-mail ni par WhatsApp. En voyant sur Google...

"Clean and newly renovated room, but lacking essentials. The water in the kitchen and bathroom was barely warm. It was very difficult to figure out how the showers work. We had a cold shower on our first day as the reception was closed at 5 pm, and we didn’t get the promised contact on WhatsApp. We had to ask for wine glasses and a salad bowl but again couldn’t get that on our first day as we had to contact with the receptionist. Pictures on expedia are nicer than the property. Noisy...

Didn’t like: the pictures really oversold the property and our room which was tiny, with inconvenient stairs, small curtain that did not fully cover the light from coming in and noisy. No swimming pool nor hot tub as shown in pictures of the Expedia app"
"La qualité de cette hôtel est son excellent petit-déjeuner fait maison. Son emplacement est pratique, pas trop loin de l'embarcadére et des restaurants.
Par contre très grosse déception pour la chambre. Nous avions réservé une chambre de luxe. Ce sont des toutes petites chambres, sombres, vétustes, inconfortables avec une minuscule salle de bain. Les photos ne correspondent pas.
