"Very rustic. What they don’t tell you is they run completely off grid. Electricity is so so no hot water. Mattress needed replaced many years ago. No AC or working heat, WiFi was iffy but worked most of the time. Whole place is run down and tired. Severely scratched annd broken furniture, old worn blankets etc Only food available is the pizza and it was just ok. The breakfast was good. Staff all seemed new. "It is the worst place I’ve ever stayed and wasn’t cheap either. Staff wasn’t friendly. We checked in at 5 and they gave us a room that was completely dirty and hadn’t been cleaned when I complained they just said sorry no offer to move our stuff or even offer us free coffee. Of course they don’t have to do anything because there are no other lodges nearby."

"The property manager, Andrea, was wonderful! She was very helpful and responded quickly to all emails. We stayed in the guest suite, which was such a nice respite after staying in hotels. We were able to cook, do laundry, and even had movies to watch. Very accessible to Sequoia and Kings Canyon parks. Would stay here again!"

"I would not recommend this place, property was old and unkept. Bed was worn down, door doesn’t seal at the bottom thus letting in the cockroach that fell on my pillow during the night. Communication with owner was not good."

"Honestly- don’t go here. It could be such a beautiful place and maybe was at some point, but now it’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. The surrounding properties are beautiful and outside is peaceful. The cabin, itself, is infested by mice. From what I could tell, the mice own it now. It is by the grace of God that my 6 yr old and I ended up okay, after everything. This place is in the mountains. Secluded. No cell service. The key was not where it was supposed to be. There were NO instructions...

"Nice home with 3 bedrooms. Some of interior is a little outdated but definitely functional for what we needed. The home has no central ac but does have windows units and space heaters for multiple rooms. During our stay it was cold and we used the provided space heaters and was comfortable. The property has good parking and a nice back yard and full kitchen which was very convenient."

"Incredible stay! Host made this the best possible experience! A bit of a drive from the national parks, but completely worth it! We can’t wait to come back! 10/10!!"
