"Great hotel outside Yosemite. There is a very nice restaurant next to it that has great food although you have to pay separately for what you eat. The hotel was very clean overall and we had a good experience."

"Clean and comfortable. Water had an odd taste but that could be rectified with filters. When we checked out the clerk said she could not print out a receipt because it was through Hotels.com; however, other hotels we booked through that website could print out receipts.No biggie. "

"We attended a family wedding in town. The Lumberjack was a close location to the venue. Likes: clean room, recently renovated, comfy bed and great staff. Dislike: lack of available parking space, we had to park a block away. "

"Great place in Groveland. Very close to Yosemite NP entrance. The Taproom and its outside seating in the back are great. Cool to chill in the wrap around porch. Very close walking distance to various dining options in town. "

"Liked the hotel's location. It's in the middle of everything. You can walk to bar's, wine tasting, restaurants and shopping. They have a restaurant bar/bistro right next to them. Stayed in room 10 which had a nice balcony to sit and sip wine ir your favorite beverage. Highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely use this hotel if we go back. Only thing is the parking, it could he a hassle if the lot is full. We never had any issues. 👍💯"

"This is a unique property. It’s a short walk down the hill to the historic downtown of Sonora. There are large sitting rooms that we were able to use during the day and in the evening. So much more comfortable than a traditional hotel. Wonderful breakfasts included. The furniture and decor are over-the-top late Victorian, but that’s part of the charm. "

"This place was absolutley immaculate! Bedding was so very comfortable. Nice touches like fresh banannas, orange juice, oat milk, granola, ice cream bars, pop corn, ect....we stayed in Hikers Cabin 1900 ponerosa lane. Beautiful patio, balcony, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom. The cabin was sparkling clean and so comfortable! My husband and i were so very pleased! "

"Wonderful building. The room was better than expected. The balcony was lovely. There is a terrific dining room and a library with a fireplace in the winter. Lots of cool books to browse through. We had a delicious breakfast on the porch the wondered around the gardens. Great place for weddings and other gatherings. The town of Murphy's was a delight. All the action is just a few doors down."

Our host was so helpful and responsive and the place clean and very well equipped with everything we needed whether it was in the kitchen, electronics, linens, toiletries, etc. Our favorite part was the covered deck overlooking a lush garden full of beautiful sounds and scents of nature. We highly recommend the Villa Sierra!"

"Winterfell is a gem! The host is kind and thoughtful. The room feels like a home away from home tucked in the woods. In hindsight we would have packed a picnic to sit at the table under the trees. Very comfortable and wonderful ✨"

"Very beautiful place especially for the price. It was such a cozy stay and everyone felt very comfortable there. The whole community also had a lot to do and was very welcoming. We even left behind a sweatshirt by accident and they offered to ship it out to us. Would definitely recommend and would like to stay there again!"
