"Fantastic location - right on the beach. Hotel provides beach towels, Umbrellas and sometimes beach chairs (first come first serve). Easy walking distance to other beaches, to the port town and to bus stops. This hotel does not have a pool. Breakfast is simple and good. Front desk staff are very helpful- they have arranged many taxi pick ups for us during our stay. Bathrooms need improving however. The shower situation is an interesting set up as water gets everywhere. One day our housekeeping...
"We loved it here!! So close to the beach, close to shops and restaurants, very kind and helpful staff. The breakfast was delicious. There was a bus across the street to Naxos Town with lots of shops and restaurants! We hope to come back!!! They upgraded our room for free, the rooms were very nice and clean! The pool was as very nice and clean also."
"The staff (Poppy) was very helpful with tips on getting around Naxos. From the hotel it was a 15 minute walk to the port. Easy to walk to shopping / restaurants. We also enjoyed the pool. Nice breakfast buffet; the ladies did a great job !"
"Great location large room. Old outdated key access, outdated bathroom, minimal old furnitures,
Lack of lighting, old cumbersome sliding doors to nice big balcony. Great breakfast great staff. This spacious place needs updating."
"We had a wonderful stay at the Iris. It’s a clean comfortable hotel and easy walk from downtown. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Every morning we had a warm welcome from Dimitra who serves the breakfast. Anastasia at the front desk was a great help with ferry schedules when high winds delayed our departure."
"We recently had a short stay at Summer Shades Hotel. Having read some mixed reviews beforehand, we wanted to share our perspective, as we found the hotel to be a genuinely lovely experience, especially considering the very reasonable price point.
We stayed in a spacious, clean room at the back of the property overlooking the pool. It was beautifully quiet and peaceful (though we can't speak to the noise levels of the front-facing rooms nearer the road).
The facilities were exactly what we...
"The location was perfect, very close to the main square and right on the beach. The servers and staff were so kind and hospitable. Concierge was very sweet but wasn’t able to answer many questions."
"Our stay was fantastic and the staff were lovely. The room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast buffet was a highlight of the stay. It’s also located a stone’s throw away from the beach. Would stay here again if I were to come back."
"Loved my stay at the Xenia hotel. The staff were very helpful, and the room was really nice and clean. The hotel is also in a great location as there are lots of restaurants and things to do within an easy walking distance."
"The property location was literally on the beach and basically right in the main chora. It was steps to Kyma and Sorokos which were both amazing spots for food and drinks. The staff were so friendly. Thank you to Andreas for being so welcoming and accommodating. The only thing is there were some people smoking in their rooms or around the property so this can be a deal breaker for many."
"Nice hotel to stay along Plaka Beach. Easy to drive to the hotel and good car parking but I also see there is bus service every half hour from hotel to Naxos town. We didn't use the pool (and the hot tub wasn't hot, it was same temp as pool), but it looked ok for a swim. Good buffet breakfast, lots of variety"
"A wonderful family-run hotel just a six-minute drive from the center of Naousa. The property was very clean, (sheets and towels are cotton white) and the owners were incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Breakfast was fresh and offered a generous spread with plenty of choices. There’s also ample parking and a lovely pool with beautiful view. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return."
