"The location was great, right in the centre of town,10 mins walk from train station. Staff very friendly and helpful with bag storage until check in. Room was nice ,very clean and comfortable bed,tea and coffee and biscuits provided. Unfortunately though we had little sleep as the noise levels from bar/outside rooftop garden
( same level as room) was extremely loud ,the bar closes at midnight and the noise continued til 1am and we could not sleep after that. So for that reason only we would not...
"First impressions when i parked up and looked at the building was that it looked tired and in need of some tlc, when entering the reception area it was immaculately clean and bright with welcoming friendly helpful staff. Walking to my room i was impressed by the dining area and bar. My room was spotless and very comfortable with the best blackout curtains. Very impressed with the room but a personal preference would have been to be on the first floor. All the staff were excellent and the...

"Well where do I start, the staff were excellent as they were so helpful, caring and very friendly. The hotel had a great atmosphere and the food was excellent as well as being very tasty. Being treated by the cat was lovely as it was so friendly and waited for us at the top of the stairs when we came to our room. So much looking at planning to go back for another visit."
"Crazy tight parking, witnessed one lady crawling through the hatch to get to the driving seat to get her car out.
Short staffed, service was slow at the restaurant, took 45 minutes to get a drink, and no they were not busy just untrained people.
Young Chef at breakfast had a bad attitude, slamming down dishes and cutlery, completely put me and family off of breakfast.
Good location for walking the town of Shrewsbury, and the bus station is next door, so you don't have to unwedge your car from...
"Location was good and also the matras was ok. The Bath and furniture were dated, Bath rust and mold. View from the window on garbage from hotel. We had lots of flies in the room. The TV was not working properly (bad receipt most channels). No soap and shampoo at shower (both empty). No cleanup room and clean towels for 2nd night. We paid for breakfast but was poor. On tables outside in the morning they left all the bottles and glasses. They are not looking after the place. Much much too...
"Would have been a 5 star review but I asked the first night if staff could kindly remind other residents to move away from the front steps of the building whilst smoking kate at night as it comes into the bedroom window.
Second night I had to ask 3 different gentlemen to please move away as their smoke was keeping me awake and affecting my asthma. Two were very apologetic and moved but the 3rd I got abuse from and it was not nice😞."
