"Aside from having to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs, this place was really great! The room was comfortable, the shared kitchen was clean, and the location was fantastic. It was just a short walk to downtown and the gondola rides. Overall, a wonderful place to stay!"

"The internet played up a lot No Sky channels so couldn’t watch any sport"

"Walking distance to everything, nice an quiet"

"Good breakfast, room ok. We were a bit disappointed with the view. We had chosen a room type based on getting a view but I was badly obscured in the room we were given"

"Comfy beds, clean well furnished unit. Great location and good price."

"Hotel was dated but VERY clean. Beds comfortable. Location good. I think a good choice looking at other hotels and glad we chose this one."

"Excellent location right in town all the facilities you need to cook. I recommend booking parking space there to be hassle free"

"The owners checked us in and were extremely helpful with dining options. The room was nice. Ours was small but comfortable, although the furniture was a bit dated. Be sure to bring your wine glasses if you drink the local wines as they are not provided in the kitchen or room. The kitchen is shared with other clients. If you need to store refrigerator items the kitchen refrigerator is bigger than your room. and the freezer is large as well. This was handy. Housekeeping is not daily, but I’m...

"Overall was nice experience, good location, good setup Bit the TV ( remote) in room wasn’t working"

"Nice staff, rooms were clean but older. They had a 10pm noise curfew but it wasn’t enforced and loud music went until 2am!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at ABBA Court Motel Loved the beautiful view from the balcony and it was an easy five minute walk into town with several supermarkets extremely close The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. They provided luxury towels as well, which is a bonus and sufficient tea coffee and toilet paper for our stay. Bathroom was definitely narrow but this was clearly stated on their website so it was not an issue for us at all Would happily stay there again Any...

"Great Lake view and easy walk to the downtown."

"I love this place, right on the otherside of the lake. I was in a single room (fridge, kettle). Clean and quiet."

"Great location, good price but basic and a bit shabby facilities. The reception did not send me the code for late check in, even when requested. Security chap great and got me the key."

"From the moment you click on the website, its premise is based on a lie, for ‘Lakeside Te Anau Accommodation’ it is not! The room is relatively clean, no doubt helped by the bed bug warnings emblazoned on the room walls. It is rather quaint, the room decor and bedspreads reminding me of my great grandma’s place, bless her soul, with warnings about fines for not doing the dishes to an appropriate standard again reminding us of the history of a bygone era. Beware of breaking the rules as you...

"Beautiful room that is easily walkable to the town centre!"
