"I had a large room with an ensuite shower room also large. A great touch was a pedestal fan and loads of tea and coffee. I booked inclusive breakfast which was unbeatable. There was a full cooked menu including full English, Kippers, toast. Fresh fruit yoghurt cereals toast etc. Very generous portions. "The room ( junior suite ) was cold as the radiators were not working when we arrived. Reception was informed at about 4,00 pm but nothing improved until several houirs later. Two electric heaters were put in the room and the radiators eventually came on. The 'fault', we weere told, was the room thermostst which was located outside in the hallway (???) and somebody had turned it off. "We loved our stay here. They are in the middle of renovations and we paid for a cheaper room that hadn't been renovated fully yet. We were a little worried it would be grotty or quite dated since the pictures on the website for those rooms weren't great, but the rooms were actually pretty nice. The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are amazing with breathtaking views. The restaurant is great. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
