"It was good overall but the reason I didn’t rate a 5 star was because there was either bed bugs or flea in one of the rooms. I got bites all over the body and very itchy. I still got another 10 days on the road so that makes it quite frustrating.
The place is great, just need to deal with the bug bites."
"This motel is located in a quiet town north of Christchurch. Although it is close to the highway, we were not affected by any noise. The bed and lounge were comfortable and the two bedroom “apartment” we booked was very spacious. The kitchenette had all the basic equipment we would expect in a kitchenette, which allowed us to cook a meal. There is a 4 Square supermarket within easy walking distance. We were happy with our choice, spending one night here."
"Beautiful, peaceful and worth every cent. We had a wonderful stay at Hanmer Glamping and would happily book again. The dome was beautifully decorated, with lovely touches throughout that made it feel really special rather than just a place to sleep. It was also much more spacious than we expected, so we had plenty of room to spread out and unwind.
The highlight was waking up to the mountain views each morning. It's so peaceful out there, and we had complete privacy for our whole stay, which...
"Wow! What a space! The drive up is rather intense and I wonder if maybe there should be a warning when booking like other spaces have? Otherwise it was almost otherworldly when we arrived in the thick fog and woke in the morning to wonderful scenery. Definitely recommend "
"The motel was well maintained, simple and comfortable motel. The lady in the reception was very helpful and friendly, and she even let us check in a little bit earlier. The location of the motel is great, a short walking distance to the thermal pools and the motel even offered us two towels to take to the pools."
