"Location is convenient to sleep before early flights from Gatwick. Other amenities need updating: there is no kettle in the room so if you need a cup of hot water, it's going to be a journey. Air is very dry in the room because air con system has to work permanently. Finally, shower place in a bathroom is strange. Its not a shower cabin with doors, just same floor, in my room it was badly clogged,so water didn't go down but covering all the floor and I had to drop towel into the gap under...
"Staff very helpful and nice relaxed atmosphere. Prices are OK although I thought the deserts were overpriced.
Quick check in and out.
No fridge in the room"
"Restaurant food was good. Friendly staff. However, don’t rely on the shuttle to get you to the terminal. Two didn’t come so we were 40 mins late for checkin. It’s run by a 3rd party - but….."
"Room was quiet and peaceful and I had a good nights sleep. Downstairs smelt smoky and musty. Hotel could do with a bit of modernisation, also had an issue with my invoice when I checked out - I paid more than was on my invoice!"
"The hotel is located next to Epsom Race Course and has a spacious free car park (I expect it will be full on race days). The reception staff were efficient and welcoming. My room was on the 3rd floor accessed by 2 lifts (plus stairs). My room was spacious with a comfortable double bed, a 2 seater settee, a desk and chair. Equipped with a kettle, tea, coffee, and milk; a hair drier; iron and ironing board. The ensuite was a compact arrangement of a shower cubicle, w.c. and sink. Soap and...
"The pictures online were not reflective of the establishment in real life. Pictures were very good and modern. In real life, the carpets and deco require updating. Carpets were worn out and the 1st impression not welcoming. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room and bedding was clean. TV didn’t work. Price was not different to a nearby well presented premier in. The shower water lukewarm and weak pressure. Overall, I really struggled to review the property in a positive light. I’m really...
"It's a lovely pub and hotel, with good live music and a really strong local clientele. The rooms are spacious and clean, with every thing you would need. It's super close to the railway station and to the town. We will be back there again."
"Overall the property was clean and tidy, the staff were pleasant, kind and helpful and the parking was free, which is a bonus these days. We only stayed the one night but I would certainly book again if we were in the area."
