"The Lion Inn was a last minute booking but it did not disappoint. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was served hot. The breakfast was cooked to order and was a great welsh breakfast. The rooms were cosy but with a boutique hotel theme. Public areas were clean there was parking available with tables outside. "I travelled with my 2 year old daughter.
The bedding was absolutely filthy. Hairs, stains of unknown bodily fluids, some looked very much like blood. I’m not entirely sure they had actually been changed after the last occupants of the room left as it didn’t smell great. The bedding was changed after I asked. The rooms are In serious need of renovation. Very outdated, damaged, worn, unpleasant to be in and had a musty old smell to them. Carpet damage in places. Bedside lamp had old blood on....

"The room was clean and comfortable but we were in the top of the building so it wasn’t the best room available.
Which we didn’t mind as we it was reasonable value and we booked last minute.
However the people in the establishment were a little rowdy and we felt uncomfortable on the evening having our meal. The breakfast the following morning was unorganised with staff who didn’t know what to do and was definitely not worth the money."

"We had a lovely stay it was very clean and everything you needed apart from a gas cooker. Beatrice was lovely and very welcoming the only thing we was a little uncomfortable with was we felt we was living with her as she was next door and her balcony was right next to ours. It was more a guest room than an apartment with her being next to us. We couldn't relax thinking tv might be to loud, or music not that we have it on loud but we was still worried. Also could do with sweeping brush and hoover...
